Dentures: Expert Care for Comfort, Function, and Confidence

Dentures are more than replacement teeth—they support eating, speaking, comfort, and quality of life. Whether you are missing one tooth or all of your teeth, well-designed dentures can restore daily function and confidence when they are thoughtfully planned and properly maintained.

At Prestige Prosthodontics, denture care is a core focus of our practice. As a board-certified prosthodontist, Dr. Ashley Harris Hudson provides comprehensive denture care for patients seen in our office as well as for those who require on-site care due to mobility or medical limitations.

Comprehensive Denture Care, Personalized to You

Every patient’s needs are different. Denture treatment begins with understanding your goals, comfort, and prior experiences—especially what has worked well or poorly in the past.

Dentures Services May include:

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures replace all missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw, restoring the ability to eat, speak, and smile comfortably.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures replace one or more missing teeth while preserving remaining natural teeth and supporting proper bite function.

Replacement Dentures

Denture relines improve the fit of an existing denture by reshaping the surface that rests against the gums as oral tissues change over time.

Denture Relines

Replacement dentures are created when existing dentures are lost, broken, or no longer meet functional or comfort needs.

Denture Repairs

Denture repairs address cracks, fractures, or broken components to restore function and comfort as quickly as possible.

Denture Adjustments

Denture adjustments involve small refinements to relieve pressure or irritation and improve comfort during daily wear.

What Makes Denture Care Different With a Prosthodontist?

A prosthodontist is a dental specialist with advanced training in the replacement of missing teeth and oral structures. This additional education focuses on:

  • Denture design and bite function
  • Managing bone loss and soft tissue changes
  • Long-term comfort and stability
  • Care for medically complex or aging patients

This expertise is especially important for patients who have worn dentures for many years, have experienced discomfort, or require more customized solutions.

When Should Dentures Be Evaluated?

Even well-fitting dentures require periodic evaluation. You may benefit from a denture check if:

  • Dentures feel loose or uncomfortable
  • Eating has become more difficult
  • Sore spots or irritation are present
  • Dentures have not been evaluated in over a year

Regular evaluation helps maintain comfort and prevent avoidable complications.
